On 28th
November the students from the CLIL program were shown an exhibition on the
festivity of Thanksgiving. In order to know more about its origins we have to
look back to the history of the American colonization. Hence, the exhibition
was structured into three different sections, these being ‘Mayflower’,
‘Thanksgiving Day’ and ‘Pilgrim Fathers’.
The students completed a test based
on the information that was being shown on the exhibition which gave them the
opportunity to understand the celebration that takes place nowadays.
