Last
January, all CLIL students went to see Bram Stoker’s play ‘Dracula’. As
pre-activities, the teacher spent a few classes explaining the main plot of the
novel and showing some videos in order to contextualize the story.
At
the end of the play, the students held a discussion with the actors of the play
and asked some questions about the ‘making of’.
Back
in class, we discussed the main parts of the plot and the differences between the
play and the novel as we had seen in class.
The
students had so much fun and practised their listening and speaking skills
while learning about English literature and having fun.
